WAA13426]]<br /> <br /> Het &#039;&#039;&#039;Postpad&#039;&#039;&#039; is een onverharde landweg tussen de [[Vijverlaan]] en de [[Drunenseweg]]. De van oudsher gebruikte naam voor dit pad is officiëel vastgesteld op 14 april 2020. <br /> <br /> In 1807 werd het postverwisselkantoor van Drunen overgeplaatst naar Baardwijk, waar het in 1812 de status van postkantoor kreeg. Aangenomen wordt dat het Postpad onderdeel was van de postverbinding met het zuiden. In 1927 werd nog een ten noorden van de [[Hoefswiel]] gelegen akker de Postakker genoemd.<br /> <br /> Het pad ligt precies in het verlengde van de [[Hoefsteeg]] en sloot daar vroeger op aan. Op deze aansluiting werd bij de aanleg van de spoorlijn Lage Zwaluwe-’s-Hertogenbosch een overweg gemaakt.
